Boracay, Getting Here!

Since Boracay Island itself is too small to have an airport, visitors of Fairways and Bluewater Boracay Resort and Philippines Golf Course and Country Club usually fly to Caticlan Airport on Panay Island, which is just a short hop across the Tabon Straight to Boracay Island.
In Caticlan, Fairways and Bluewater Boracay Resort Club share owners and their guests can relax at the exclusive Welcome Centre while waiting to board the Club's private 49-seater ferry boat, the "First Lady," which is stationed at Caticlan jetty port for the exclusive use of all Fairways and Bluewater Boracay Resort Club share owners and their guests.
Caticlan is a small regional airport that is serviced by a number of airlines. Our accredited airline is Corporate Air, which flies the route twice a day. Corporate Air is the only airline that has an excusive lounge in the departure area of Manila Domestic Airport.
Alternative carriers on the route include Asian Spirit, which normally makes four to five flights to Boracay per day, and SEAIR Philippines that normally makes three trips.
The other main airport servicing Caticlan directly is Cebu, with both Asian Spirit and SEAIR Philippines operating one or two flights to Boracay a day, while SEAIR Philippines will fly from Busuanga on Coron Island, Northern Palawan, when there is sufficient demand.
The alternative route used by visitors who are unable to fly directly to Caticlan is through Kalibo, which requires a land travel that consumes about one hour. WOW Philippines Travel Agency usually organize air-conditioned bus transport or mini-van – for smaller groups, and include a boat transfer to one of several Boracay Island boat stations.

Philippine Airlines fly from Manila to Kalibo up to four times a day, while Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines offer up to two flights a day.
For those traveling from Iloilo, there are three options: air conditioned bus, with three direct schedules per day and other buses scheduled to Kalibo with a change of bus to get to Caticlan; mini-van, again changing service in Kalibo; or renting a taxi direct to Caticlan. However, the trip takes between 4 and 7 hours.
Finally, for those who wish to travel to Caticlan by ship, there are two shipping vessels that ply the route of Manila – Caticlan. The ships depart from Manila's North Harbor every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5pm, and will arrive between 6 to 8am the following day.
